Lisa Cassani, MD
Dr. Lisa Cassani, MD, is a gastroenterologist with extensive experience diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the digestive system. She cares for patients with a range of gastrointestinal concerns, including abdominal pain and colon polyps.
Dr. Cassani also performs colonoscopies to screen for and diagnose conditions affecting the colon. Her experience includes evaluating conditions involving the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts.
Dr. Cassani earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She has nearly two decades of experience in gastroenterology and is affiliated with Grady Memorial Hospital.
Her goal is to help patients understand their digestive health, identify the cause of their symptoms, and determine the right next steps for treatment.
