Doctor's Bio
Dr. Neela D. Goswami received a BS with honors in biology from Stanford University, a medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and an MPH from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She completed an internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at Duke University Medical Center and worked as an attending physician at the Durham VA Medical Center. She moved with her family to Atlanta, Georgia to join faculty at the Emory School of Medicine and Rollins School of Public Health and work as an infectious diseases physician. She also works in the Field Services Branch of the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served in the CDC COVID-19 Response Health Systems and Worker Safety Task Force and CDC COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force. She enjoys working with medical students, residents, and fellows. Her clinical interests include TB and HIV/AIDS. She has a keen interest in bringing the latest clinical advancements to patient care.
