Doctor's Bio
Dr. Gooding is an adolescent medicine specialist in the Division of General Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Gooding received her BS from the University of Georgia, her MSc from the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health, and her MD from the University of California San Francisco. She completed her clinical fellowships in internal and adolescent medicine at Brigham and Woman’s and Boston Children’s Hospital and was on the faculty at Harvard Medical School before joining Emory in 2019. Dr. Gooding’s NIH funded research explores the preservation of cardiovascular health both during and following the transition from adolescence to adulthood. In addition to her research and clinical work, Dr. Gooding teaches about adolescent and young adult care to medical students, pediatric and internal medicine residents, and health care professionals.
