Doctor's Bio
Dr. Ann C. Schwartz, MD, is a psychiatrist who specializes in consultation-liaison psychiatry, caring for patients with mental health needs that arise alongside complex medical conditions. As Director of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Service at Grady, she works closely with patients and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health care during hospitalization.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Schwartz is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine and serves as Director of Residency Education, where she helps train the next generation of psychiatrists. Her professional interests include consultation-liaison psychiatry, medical education, and promoting excellence and professionalism in patient care.
