Dr. Andres A. Rodriguez Ruiz is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine. He graduated from the Medical School of University of Puerto Rico Medical School. Subsequently, he completed his Neurology Residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, serving as Chief Resident in his final year of training. He then specialized in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy by completing a two-year fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, with a focus on EEG, Epilepsy, Intraoperative Monitoring, and ICU EEG. He is board-certified in Neurology and Epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Andres A. Rodriguez Ruiz serves on several Committees of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. His research interests span the whole spectrum of Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy. Dr. Rodriguez has an interest in medications and devices for research on Epilepsy patients. Dr. Rodriguez also has an interest in Healthcare Informatics with a focus on the EEG of critically ill patients.
