Doctor's Bio
Dr. Viviana Serra López is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who completed subspecialty training in hand and upper extremity surgery. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After working in medical manufacturing, Dr. Serra earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, and completed residency training at the University of Pennsylvania. During her training, she served as a resident lead for the local community Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic as part of the Penn Center for Surgical Health. She also completed a fellowship in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
