Doctor's Bio
Dr. Tichelle Nyarko is a primary care physician currently practicing at Grady’s East Point Health Center. Originally from Louisiana, she pursued her undergraduate education and medical training at Emory University, where she completed her residency in Family Medicine. She enjoys providing compassionate, evidence-based care, with a deep commitment to improving the lives of the communities she serves.
Dr. Nyarko is also passionate about research that enhances population health, working to address broader social determinants and health disparities affecting underserved communities.
With a strong belief in holistic care, Dr. Nyarko aims to support patients at every stage of life, promoting wellness and disease prevention as key components of long-term health.
Outside of her clinical and research roles, Dr. Nyarko values quality time with her family and finds joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoys exploring nature, discovering new and delicious food, and recharging through meaningful connections and outdoor adventures.
