Doctor's Bio
Dr. Meng Zhang, MD, is a breast imaging radiologist who specializes in using advanced imaging to detect and diagnose breast cancer and other breast conditions. Her clinical interests include evaluating high-risk breast findings and using new imaging technologies to improve breast cancer detection.
Dr. Zhang completed her diagnostic radiology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and advanced fellowship training in breast imaging at Emory University. She is an Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Breast Imaging Division at Emory University School of Medicine.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Zhang conducts research and helps educate other physicians about breast imaging. Her work includes studying how imaging findings relate to biopsy and pathology results, which can help physicians more accurately diagnose breast conditions and determine the appropriate next steps for care.
Dr. Zhang is committed to using advances in breast imaging to support earlier detection, accurate diagnosis, and informed treatment decisions.
