Dr. Maria M. Aaron, MD, is an ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical care for eye conditions. She brings years of experience and a strong commitment to helping patients protect and improve their vision.
Dr. Aaron takes a personal approach to care, combining her medical expertise with compassion and attention to each patient’s needs. She has earned high marks for patient satisfaction and is dedicated to providing excellent eye care.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Aaron is a nationally recognized leader in medical education. She spent 14 years leading Emory’s ophthalmology residency program and now serves as Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education.
Dr. Aaron has received several national awards for her work in teaching and training future eye doctors. She has also held leadership roles with the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Aaron has remained focused on what matters most: delivering excellent care and helping patients maintain healthy vision.
