Doctor's Bio
Dr. Julia J. Liu’s is the Chief of Gastroenterology at Grady Memorial Hospital. Her clinical work and research focus on the use of imaging modalities to quantify leaky gut in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome.
Dr. Liu leads clinical initiatives aimed at addressing disparities in gastroenterological care for underserved minority populations through research and education.
