Joya Janai Reasor, MD was born in Decatur, Georgia. Dr. Joya Reasor attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated with honors with a degree in Biological Science, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in Leadership and Service. She did her medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Pediatrics Residency at Morehouse School of Medicine. She served as a third-year co-chief resident. During residency, she received the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Reasor is an active member of her community. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Dr. Reasor is devoted to serving the underserved population. In her free time, Dr. Reasor enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Her proudest accomplishments are her children, Jordyn and Jayce. A quote that Dr. Reasor loves is “Success is not the key to happiness; Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
