Dr. Joya Janai Reasor, MD was born in Decatur, Georgia. Dr. Joya Reasor attended the University of Georgia, where she graduated with honors with a degree in Biological Science, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in Leadership and Service. She did her medical training at Morehouse School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Pediatrics Residency at Morehouse School of Medicine. She served as a third-year co-chief resident. During residency, she received the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dr. Reasor is an active member of her community and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. She is devoted to serving the underserved population and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Her proudest accomplishments are her children, Jordyn and Jayce.
