Doctor's Bio
Dr. Joya Janai Reasor, MD, is a proud Decatur native with a passion for caring for children and serving her community. She graduated with honors from the University of Georgia, earning a degree in Biological Science, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in Leadership and Service. She completed her medical training and Pediatrics Residency at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she served as a third-year co-chief resident and was honored with the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dr. Reasor is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care, especially to underserved populations. She is an active member of her community and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Reasor enjoys traveling and spending time with her greatest joys—her children, Jordyn and Jayce. She lives by the quote, “Success is not the key to happiness; happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
