Jennifer Wingo has been working at Grady Health System since 2006 after graduating from Emory University School of Nursing. She started her nursing career in the Emergency Department, transitioned to the Trauma Program and Registry in 2011, and ultimately completed her MSN as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in May 2013. Since 2013 she has worked with the orthopedic department in multiple different capacities, including with the orthopedic trauma team, with the hand team, the joints team, sometimes with the spine team, and with nonoperative orthopedic care. She remains dedicated to the mission and goals of Grady Health System, Emory University, and the orthopedic department. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and hanging out with her teenage daughter and their cat, Mr. Bean.
