Doctor's Bio
Dr. James Hamilton is a head and neck surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of both cancerous and noncancerous conditions affecting the head and neck. He has expertise in treating tumors of the mouth, throat, voice box, salivary glands, thyroid, and other head and neck structures, using advanced surgical techniques to provide the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Hamilton earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine.
In addition to removing tumors, Dr. Hamilton specializes in reconstructive surgery to restore appearance, speech, and swallowing after treatment. He is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care and helping patients navigate every step of their treatment and recovery.
