Grady Health System is proud to announce that several of its leaders and team members have been named winners in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2026 Health Care Champion Awards, recognizing individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to improving health care across metro Atlanta.
The Health Care Champion Awards are selected through an independent editorial review process and honor professionals whose achievements have made a meaningful impact on their organizations and the communities they serve.
Grady Health System Honorees Include:
Community Outreach Champion of the Year
• Angela Brown, Director of Emergency, Trauma, and Interpersonal Violence Departments, Grady Health System
Health Care Executive of the Year
• Dr. Yolanda Wimberly, Chief Health Outcomes Officer, Grady Health System
Innovator of the Year – Women’s Health
• Dr. Nadine J. Kaslow, Chief Psychologist, Grady Health System, and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Emory University School of Medicine
Nurse of the Year
• Ashley Gresham, Vice President of Emergency Services, Grady Health System
Rising Star
• Tiffany “Coach Tip” Francis, Talent Development Manager, Grady Health System

The Atlanta Business Chronicle will celebrate all 2026 Health Care Champion Award winners at an awards event on March 19.
