Doctor's Bio
Dr. Ann-Gelle Carter is double board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine, providing care that’s comprehensive and compassionate. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Kaweah Health in Visalia, California, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Carter also holds a Master’s in Medical Sciences from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s in Biology from East Carolina University. She’s an active member of the National Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians’ membership committee.
Dr. Carter cares for patients of all ages, from children to adults. Her practice includes everything from treating everyday illnesses and managing chronic conditions to providing annual physicals, women’s wellness visits, and personalized weight management plans. She’s passionate about helping people feel their best, live healthier, and reach their wellness goals with support and understanding every step of the way.
