Doctor's Bio
Dr. Salimah Sligh is a dedicated family medicine physician serving patients at Grady’s Camp Creek Comprehensive Care Center. A proud Chicago native and Spelman College graduate, Dr. Sligh has always been passionate about advancing health in underserved communities.
Her educational journey includes graduate studies in Women’s Health at Suffolk University and Physiology at Georgetown University. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, GA, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dr. Sligh is deeply committed to health outcomes, especially in communities of color. She focuses on managing chronic conditions, practicing lifestyle medicine, and empowering patients to prevent disease through education and support.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Sligh enjoys spending time with her husband and family, recharging and staying grounded in the values that inspire her work.
