Doctor's Bio

Tonya Becks completed her undergraduate studies at the University of West Georgia and earned her MSN from South University. Certified as an adult gerontology nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, she’s embarking on a new journey focused on video on demand and the Asa Yancey Neighborhood Clinic.
With a background at Grady, Tonya assumed roles as a charge nurse and preceptor in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and the Rapid Response team. She also spent six years as an AGNP at Grady’s Geriatric Center and Kirkwood Health Center.

Tonya’s experience also extends to roles as a hospice palliative care nurse practitioner and a home health nurse practitioner, specializing in complex health assessments.

Thrilled to rejoin Grady, Tonya is dedicated to improving healthcare accessibility through Virtual on Demand and the Asa Yancey Neighborhood Clinic.
