Doctor's Bio
Dr. Patricia Mae G. Santos, MD, MS, is a radiation oncologist who specializes in treating cancers of the lung and chest, prostate and urinary system, brain, and central nervous system. At Grady, she works with patients and their cancer care teams to develop personalized radiation treatment plans based on each patient’s diagnosis and needs.
Dr. Santos earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her radiation oncology residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Santos conducts research focused on improving access to high-quality cancer care. Her work examines barriers that can make it harder for patients to receive timely treatment and identifies practical ways healthcare systems can improve access and outcomes.
Through her clinical care and research, Dr. Santos is committed to providing advanced cancer treatment while helping ensure more patients can get the care they need.
