Doctor's Bio

I am an orthopedic traumatologist at Emory University. My clinical practice is based at Grady Memorial Hospital – and I take care of patients with fractures and complex trauma. In addition, patients are referred to my practice for complex periarticular fractures of the hip, knee, and ankle, as well as post-trauma conditions, like limb salvage, infection, and post-traumatic deformity.

Several of our patients have been featured in Grady’s advertising campaign, recognizing the Grady Orthopaedic Trauma Service’s outstanding clinical care.

In addition, the Grady Orthopaedic Trauma Service strives to be one of the leading academic orthopedic trauma divisions in the country – contributing to the growing body of research literature in our field and educating the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. We publish approximately 20 new original research manuscripts per year and are currently investigating new ways to treat pain and improve healthcare delivery for all trauma patients. We educate the Emory Orthopaedic Surgery residents, and in 2022, we will begin educating advanced trainees through our new orthopedic trauma fellowship.

My research interests include immunoengineering strategies to predict and improve patient outcomes in patients with multi-trauma.
