Manali Bhave, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Board-certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, Dr. Bhave specializes in breast oncology. She joined the Glenn Family Breast Center at Winship Cancer Institute in 2018. Prior to her appointment at Winship, she was a clinical instructor at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Bhave has a special interest in developing new strategies for the treatment of patients with breast cancer. She is an active member of the Breast Cancer Working Group and the Phase I Clinical Trials Unit and collaborates with other Winship members in clinical trials. Her goal is to provide compassionate, personalized, and state-of-the-art care for her patients through the use of both standard-0f-care therapies and clinical trials.
Dr. Bhave graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University in Chicago in 2007 with a degree in Psychology and Business Institutions prior to earning her medical degree in 2011 from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine and women’s health at Northwestern University in 2014. She then completed her fellowship in both medical oncology and hematology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2017, and served as Chief Fellow there from 2016-2017.
