I completed my education in my home state of Michigan, first at the University of Michigan where I majored in Movement Science and later at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine where I received my medical degree. I moved to Atlanta to complete my residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Emory University. After graduation I joined Emory’s faculty to be part of the unique role we have as physiatrists at Grady supporting the Neuro and Trauma teams beginning in the ICU level of care. I have a special interest in working with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries and starting their rehabilitation process soon after admission. My goal is to continue building Grady’s post-acute care resources for these patient’s in the Neurosciences clinic in order to facilitate chronic management of their injuries and reintegration back into our community.
