Dr. Elliot S. Bishop, MD

Dr. Elliot Bishop received his MD degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed general surgery residency at the University of Chicago prior to fellowship training in surgical critical care and trauma surgery at the Ryder Trauma Center and the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System. He is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care.

Dr. Bishop is a trauma surgeon, emergency/elective general surgeon, and surgical critical care intensivist at Grady Memorial Hospital. His clinical and research interests include point-of-care ultrasound in trauma and critical care, thoracic trauma, and surgical education.
