Diego H. Remolina, MD

Dr. Remolina is an Assistant Professor in the department of Medicine, Division of General Medicine & Geriatrics. He is a native of Bucaramanga, Colombia, and attended Pontifical Javeriana University School of Medicine in Bogota. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Michael Reese Hospital/University of Illinois at Chicago and his Geriatric medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, he is board-certified in internal medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and palliative care medicine. Dr. Remolina is a Clinician Educator, he works at The Emma I. Darnell Geriatric Center at Grady Memorial Hospital, providing primary care and comprehensive evaluation and treatment of older adults, and he also participates in resident teaching in the outpatient clinic service and inpatient service at Grady. He has presented several poster sessions at American Geriatric Society meetings and has a special clinical interest in teaching, preventive medicine and older adult health, geriatric multidisciplinary assessment, cognitive impairment, hospice and end of life care.
