After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia and earning a master’s degree at Georgetown University, Dr. Song attended Eastern Virginia Medical School earning his MD. He then completed anesthesiology residency as well as a fellowship in regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine at Emory University. He is now an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Emory University, as well as co-director of regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital where he teaches residents and medical students and helps run the acute pain service.
