Aaron M. Harris, MD, MPH, FACP

Aaron M. Harris, is a Medical Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a volunteer assistant professor of medicine at Emory University. Dr. Harris earned is combined MD/MPH at Tufts University School of Medicine where he received NIH grant support for global health research to prevent pneumonia in Ecuador and cholera in Bangladesh. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Emory University with research honors and global health distinction. After residency, Dr. Harris served as Epidemic Intelligence Officer at CDC. Dr. Harris currently leads national viral hepatitis prevention efforts in the Division of Viral Hepatitis. Dr. Harris also practices internal medicine and teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
