Dr. Nicolas Bakinde, MD, PhD, FACP

Dr. Nicolas Bakinde graduated from the University of Leipzig (Germany) Faculty of Medicine and received his PhD in Neuroscience (Paul Flechsig Institute for brain research, department of neurochemistry). He completed Internal Medicine Residency training at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. As a board certified Internist he is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He earned the distinction of “Fellow of the American College of Physicians”(FACP), as a recognition of his accomplishments and achievements over and above the practice of medicine. he is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine.
Prior to his career in the United States, Dr. Bakinde practiced several years in Germany and Switzerland, where he completed Fellowship in Clinical Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, and Embryology. He received his full accreditation as Specialist in anatomy from the German Society of anatomy after successful completion of a certification exam.
