Seventeen Grady Memorial Hospital affiliated physicians have been recognized as being among the nation's top doctors as part of U.S. News Media Group's 'Top Doctors' free searchable directory that lists nearly 30,000 peer-nominated physicians across the country.
The U.S. News Top Doctors list builds on U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospitals rankings which, for the second consecutive year, list Grady as one of metro Atlanta's top ten hospitals. The searchable physician directory, available at www.usnews.com/top-doctors , allows health consumers to see which 'Top Doctors' practice at the more than 700 hospitals nationwide that made the annual 'Best Hospitals' list.
The roster of 'Top Doctors' was solicited through nominations from physicians in academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, and regional hospitals and physicians in private practice. A research team then reviewed each nominee's training, achievements, and appointments, among other credentials. Grady affiliated physicians who made the 'Top Doctors' list include:
